Class News 10/05/2024

Firstly, thank you so much to all the parents and carers who came to our open evening, the children thoroughly enjoyed showing you their hard work and we can imagine how proud you all must be! This week in English we have finished our Henry VIII balanced discussion in English and we cannot wait to read their published piece. They have put so much hard work into their English and we know they will be great! In maths we have been continuing with decimals and the children have been focusing on ordering and rounding. Their homework will support with this so please make sure they hand it in by Monday 🙂

In PE we have moved on from hockey and we have started to look at the skills behind cricket. This week we focused on our throwing, catching and bowling skills. In topic we have looked at the spread of the Black Death over the world and mapped it out. In science we have been carrying out investigations testing thermal insulation to find the perfect material for a Tudor blanket.

Have a lovely weekend 🙂
