This week Year 5 have been working extra hard! We have published our diary entries putting ourselves into the shoes of Howard Carter. The children have worked so hard to imagine themselves discovering the tomb of Tutankhamun! We have also been tackling fractions once again this week, changing improper fractions into mixed fractions and we have started to compare fractions using greater than, less than and equal to. Miss Howard’s group have been moving onto finding the perimeter of shapes which they are performing really well in!
Our taiko drumming skills are improving as we have now completed all lines to our performance, the children have loved the sessions and we cannot wait to continue to them after half term! We are really looking forward to our trip next week! One more week to go, let’s keep up the hard work!
