Class news 20.1.23

We have had an exciting week in Year 5 we are continuing to develop our skills with multiplication and division in Maths. In English we have begun to write a diary extract as though we are Howard Carter discovering the tomb of Tutankahmun! This week was our first visit from CCI (Children Challenging industry) we had a great time investigating pop rockets and the effect of changing variables. We are looking forward to our next experiment with filtration.

Congratulations to those children who represented Year 5 this week at the Sports Festival showing those sporting qualities we look for in a good team players.

Pupil of the Week

Congratulations to Archie in 2BV this week who is always making good choices and doing the right thing! Congratulations to Alex in 2CR for all his hard work with our procedural writing on the process of mummification!
