Class News 20.10.23

We have had another lovely week in school in English we have started our narrative work based on the story of Alma and in Maths we have worked on column addition and subtraction this week. In our topic work we had the opportunity to great our own Ancient Egyptian gods which look fantastic on our walls. In PE we have had the chance to work on cricket with the Chance to Shine coach Owen and Mrs Short on Tag rugby skills. Please remember Thursday is our Egyptian Day in school and that Friday Tempest will be in school taking photographs. A message below from Mrs Barker below regarding World Book Day. Thank you to those parents who attended our open afternoon this week. The information shared with you is available at the bottom of the page.

To celebrate World Book day in March ’24, we’ll be holding a week of activities around the theme ‘Reading is magic’.  To help us to celebrate in school, we’d welcome any donations of Halloween decorations you may have from this year.  There will also be a dressing up day, so if you have witch/wizard/Harry Potter costumes, please keep them to use during this week.  If you have any decorations we could use, please send them into school after half term, from Tuesday 7th November.  More information about our reading week will be shared in the new year.  Thank you for your continued support.
