Class News 2.2.24

This week in English we have started a new piece of writing, the children are producing descriptive pieces about animals. This week has also been Maths Week we finished our multiplication and division and have begun working with fractions. Thank you to all those parents who attended our open afternoon to look at the four operations and our written calculations.

Taiko is going well and the children have now learnt to play a whole song and are currently practising to get it note perfect! In Science we have continued to look at the planets and their movement around the Sun. We have covered Climate Zones and natural disasters in Geography which links back to our descriptive writing.

A quick reminder- please make sure your children spend time practising their spellings and times tables at home to aid them in their work at school, thank you 🙂 TTRS and Edshed will support this the children’s logins are in the front of their reading record.
