Class news 8.12.23

We have had a lovely week in school and have enjoyed lots of different activities this week. In English we have become news reporters looking at Middlesbrough’s first mayor Henry Bolckow and in Maths we have continued to work with perimeter and area. In Science we have started a new topic based on space and the solar system. In PE we are continuing to develop our tag rugby skills with the coach.

A quick reminder PE is on Monday and Friday, children should come to school in their school PE kit (plain white t-shirt, plain black bottoms, their school jumper and trainers). Please ensure your child comes to school on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in their school uniform.

Those children who attended the school disco had an excellent time and even learnt some new dance moves. Please remember the UKS2 Christmas party is on Wednesday 20th December, children can bring their party clothes to school in a bag. Contributions towards food would be greatly appreciated.
