Class News 23.2.24

We have really enjoyed our first week back after the break and have started looking at our new topic Spectacular Sahara see the knowledge organisers below for more information.

I English we have begun to research and plan our non-chronological report into the Bedouin Nomads a migratory tribe that live in the Sahara. In Maths we are continuing to develop our understanding of fractions looking at addition and subtraction of fractions below and above one. In science we have launched our new topic of life cycles with a study of Eugenie Clark ( a renowned marine biologist).

Please can we remind you that PE is on a Tuesday and a Thursday this term please come to school in your school PE kit and trainers. Home work will still be available every Thursday and is to be returned on the following Monday. Key dates to remember are Tuesday 5th March is the launch of World Book Week in school. There is a potato character competition again this year which will be judged on Thursday 7th March and our dress up day will be Friday 8th March, the theme is reading is magic!
