KEY STAGE 0NE – 11.4.25

The children have had a fantastic week and they have tried incredibly hard.

In Maths, 1TS have been partitioning numbers to 50, sequencing numbers and using number tracks.

1MG and 1AC have been learning about time practically first and then progressed on to answering questions about time.

In English, 1TS have been focusing on the story ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ we have talked about the book, explored the vocabulary. We wrote 2-syllable words from the story and then progressed on to writing simple sentences about the characters and objects from the story.

1MG and 1AC have planned a narrative about a ‘superhero vegetable’ who saves the day and then we wrote our narrative story in our books.

The children looked wonderful all dressed up for our holiday adventure on Monday and we had so much fun! The children really enjoyed the food tasting, learning some Bollywood Dancing, designing their own Saree and Mehndi patterns.
