Class News – 06.01.2023

We have all settled superbly back into school routines this week after a busy two weeks off.

In KS1 our new topic this half term is ‘Land Ahoy!‘. We will be immersing ourselves into the life of Captain James Cook – a poignant historical figure who was born within our locality!

In Mr Griffiths’ class this week, we have been exploring a range of aboriginal art and have started a new strand of Maths – column addition.

In Miss Severs’ and Miss Stainthorpe’s classes, we have been adopting a positive mindset. We have reflected upon 2022 and identified our strengths. From this we set a goal to achieve this coming year.

Take a look at our recent newsletter:

1ES – Tyler-Michael for coming back to school with an excellent attitude to learning.

1TS – Ella for also starting off the year with a fantastic attitude.

1MG –

Inspire, Enjoy, Achieve

Every half term, we hand out special awards around our school values.
