KS1 Weekly News 1.12.23

This week the children in 1TS and 1HL have been learning about waterproof and absorbent materials in science, we have been planning to make a toy in DT and we’ve been practising addition in maths. What a busy week!

The children in 1MG have been looking at subtraction in maths. We have also been writing our own version of the story ‘Brown Paper Bear’.

Scientist of the Week

Reminder

D-I-S-C-O! We are looking forward to having a good dance at our Key Stage 1 Christmas disco on Tuesday after school. Please see the newsletter and poster on the KS1 door for more details.

Please ensure all consent forms for our visit to Preston Park are completed and sent into school. We can’t wait to go!

Our PE days are Monday and Wednesday. Please ensure your child is wearing the correct PE kit (please see the uniform policy) and for their own safety, that they are not wearing earrings on our PE days.
