Class News 17/11/23

This week the children have been completing their autumn term assessments and they have worked so hard and have blown our socks off with their effort towards them. The children have all had such a positive attitude towards their work and their motivation this week has been admirable. Keep it up year 5!

This week is Geography week so we discovered the different cities around the UK, the children were great at identifying them around England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. In science, we focused on friction and what would be the best material for a pair of goalie gloves! The children were excellent at thinking of many different sports that require lots of friction or very little friction. The children have been continuing with their narrative of Alma and will be publishing it next week! In maths, we have moved onto multiplication and division, to help your child with this, please can you access Times Table Rockstars.

Congratulations to Cruz in 2BV for his outstanding efforts within his writing this week!

Congratulations to Kiziah in 2CR for her excellent attitude towards learning and being helpful to others!

Congratulations to Ava in 2BV this week for always being kind and helpful towards others!

Congratulations to Emmie in 2CR this week for helping a new pupil settle into school!
