Weekly news 29.09.23

What a busy week we’ve had in Reception. This week our focus was The Three Little Pigs. The children have had great fun playing the characters from the story in our areas. The children have made houses of straw, sticks and bricks. Our home corner became one of the Little Pigs house and it was lovely to see and hear the children playing the characters.

Come and Read

Reception will be starting our ‘Come and Read’ sessions Monday 2nd October. These sessions will run every Monday 8.40-9.00am. This will give you the opportunity to come and share books with your child. We look forward to seeing you all.

Homework

Every Friday your child will bring home their homework book. The homework will be linked to our focus of the week. Homework should be completed and returned by the following Wednesday.

PE

Our PE days this term are Monday and Wednesday. Please can children wear their PE kits on Wednesday only. If your child wears earrings please can they be removed for our PE days. Thank you for your continued support.

Birthdays

We would like to wish a big happy birthday to Zayan who celebrated his birthday 28th September. We hope you enjoyed your day and thank you for the yummy cake!
