What a busy final week we’ve had in Reception. The children have explored Easter. Why we celebrate Easter, Who celebrates Easter and how we celebrate Easter. The children had lots of fun during our music session with Ashleigh. The children really enjoyed exploring instruments during their music session with Mrs Collins. The children have really enjoyed doing our daily handwriting sessions. We had a wonderful PE session with Mrs Short. The children showed some excellent ball control skills during PE. KS1 had a special visit from some Firefighters and they explored the Fire Engine. We went out and really enjoyed looking at the Fire Engine and nearly getting wet! In maths we have been exploring 2 and 3 step repeated patterns. The children made some wonderful repeated pattern Easter egg pictures. We have also made some delicious Easter nest cakes.
Thank you to everyone who signed up to our parents evening. It was lovely to see you all. We hope that you enjoyed looking through your child’s book and discussing the progress they have made.
We hope you all have a wonderful Half Term break and thank you for your continued support.
