Well what a wonderful week we’ve had in Reception this week! Here is just a snippet of what we’ve been up to…

Music – Music with Mrs Councell this week was lots of fun! Look at us using different materials to enjoy singing with. We are learning lots of new songs and doing very well with keeping the pulse.

Science – WOW – In Science, we have been learning about freezing and melting.

Saltburn – What a fantastic trip we had on Wednesday! We rode the Miniature Railway to the beach- it was so much fun! Then we spent lots of time on the beach; paddling, digging and building sandcastles. After a stop off in the play area we enjoyed our lunch and an ice lolly in the Valley Gardens.
The children listened brilliantly to the grown ups and the public commented on what a lovely group of children they were. Well done Reception- we are so proud of you all!!

PUPIL OF THE WEEK – A big WELL DONE to our Pupils of the week this week- Madison from the Sunshine group and Esme from the Rainbow group!

A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Rosie this week – we hope you had a brilliant day!
