People Who Help Us

This week we have been talking about People Who Help Us – we talked about Bonfire Night and how Firefighters work hard to keep us safe. We have listened to Fire Fighter songs, read stories, played with the Fire Fighter role play and even had a visit from our local FIREFIGHTERS!

Here we are checking out all the equipment and spraying the hose! We asked lots of interesting questions and even went inside – we were very high up!

In PE this week we have continued working on balancing in Mighty Warriors and the Fundamental Movement Skills with Mrs Short. Remember to keep practising hopping, skipping, jumping and galloping.

Maths Week – For Maths week, we made shape pictures and talked about different shapes in our Reception class. What shapes can you see around your home or when you are out and about?

What shape is this sign? Can you spot any other signs and shapes when are are walking safely home?

This half term the EYFS team are looking for children who are showing our values – INSPIRE, ACHIEVE, ENJOY

This week our EYFS Super Star goes to Layla in the Sunshine group and Esme in the Rainbow group. The teachers picked both girls for being a super friend this week! Well done girls we are so proud.

A big well done to Ava, Elliot and Daniel K who have all learnt their set 1 red words! And to Daniel W for sharing 25 books at home!

This week we wish a Happy Birthday to Daniel and Lincoln! We hope you had a lovely day.
