What a busy week in Reception this week? Our focus this week was about change and how things change over time. The children have been super excited to see how their beans are growing and we have some amazing gardeners because our beans have grown so well. The children really enjoyed our music sessions and had so much fun in PE.

It was lovely to see so many new faces at our ‘come and read’ session.

Our children really enjoy our music sessions with Ashleigh. We enjoy learning new songs.

The children had lots of fun moving to the music and learning new songs.

The children had so much fun with the balloons in PE and are really good at controlling the balloons.

The children have enjoyed exploring the areas this week. The children enjoyed matching the animal and their young on the farm, making amazing creations in the glue and stick area and building train tracks with their friends.

We had a very special visitor on Tuesday. Hazel who is in Year 4 came to read her story that she had created at home. The children really enjoyed listening to the story and it has inspired some children to want to write their own story.
