What a lovely week in Reception this week. We have been looking at and retelling the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

On Monday, we talked about the WHO in our story. Who are the characters? We talked about Goldilocks, Baby Bear, Mummy Bear and Daddy Bear and described them. We loved acting out the story using the Now Press Play headphones again! We have loved painting bears, pretending to be the characters, we set up a teacher area this week and measured oats using different sized containers. On Friday, we made and tasted porridge too, yum yum! What’s your favourite porridge topping?

Tuesday was Internet Safety Day, we talked about staying safe on the internet. We know to be SMART online and ask a grown-up for help if something worries us. We talked about using age-appropriate APPs and games.

In Maths, we are working on our numberbonds to 5 and 10 and moving onto measuring capacity.

Pupil of the Week!
A big well done to Joseph from Sunshine group and Sonny from Rainbow group this week.

A big Happy Birthday to Natalia this week! We hope that you had a lovely day!
