Happy Chinese New Year!
This week in Reception we have had so much fun learning about the Celebration of Chinese New Year.
We learnt the Traditional Chinese tale of The Great Race and ordered the animals from the story, learning about ordinal vocabulary.
On Monday afternoon, we made Chinese lanterns to decorate our classroom. We used the traditional red colour for Chinese New Year and decorated them with Chinese symbols.
On Tuesday we enjoyed tasting some Chinese food, we tried prawn crackers, rice, noodles and soy sauce.
