What a busy week we’ve had in Reception this week. our focus this week is keeping healthy. We have discussed what we need to keep healthy, made a fruit salad and cut up vegetables in the tuff tray. We always follow the children’s interest within our classroom and lots of our children enjoy playing with Dinosaurs so we made a Dinosaur tuff tray. We also made small town tuff tray, which we linked to Maths because the cars have numbers on them and the children need to park them in the correct parking space. The children really enjoyed their two music sessions and had lots of fun during our two PE sessions. The children have explored what a balanced diet is and had a go at designing their own healthy plate and writing a fruit salad shopping list for their book.

The children really enjoyed cutting and preparing the fruit for our yummy fruit salad and especially the eating part 😀
