10.3.23

Continuing our space theme, this week our story has been Whatever Next! by Jill Murphy. Baby Bear pretends to whoosh up to space in a cardboard rocket and his wellies! We’ve loved finding out what he got up to and used different voices as we retold parts of the story like, WHOOSH! and BUMP! and “Look at the state of you!” What a funny book! We made our very own little books to retell the story and even made some super smart rockets ourselves! Later in the week, we went on a mission on Now Press Play and had cookies on the moon! What a busy week!

JUST A REMINDER…

**School will be closed on Monday 13th March for a PD day.**
**Friday 16th is Red Nose Day! Children can come in ‘RED to Toe’ for a voluntary donation!**

Pupil of the Week!
Each week, choosing Pupil of the Week is super hard in Reception as we are proud of everyone! This week can we say a big well done to Elliott from Sunshine group and Oliver from Rainbow group.

This week we also had two children for Mrs Hewitt-Best’s golden book! A huge well done to Nella and Theo for fantastic reading and writing

On Friday we had so much fun playing in the snow! The children enjoyed digging, building snowmen and making footprints in the snow.
