What a busy final week of the term we’ve had in Reception. Our focus this week was Room on the Broom. The children enjoyed getting into character and recreating the story. The children enjoyed some exploration in the areas from carving a pumpkin to playing in coloured spaghetti, which looked like worms. The children enjoyed being scientists and doing a colour changing experiment. It was lovely to see the amazement on their faces when the potion changed colour. The children have had so much fun in our McDonald’s area. We also had a cinema afternoon on Friday in preparation for our cinema visit, we watched Room on the Broom and had hot chocolate and biscuits, it was fantastic!
