What a wonderful week we’ve had in Reception this week. We explored maps at the beginning of the week. We looked at local landmarks using Google Maps, found our school and explored the local areas. The children did a lovely picture and piece of writing of what they see on their way to school. On Tuesday the children really enjoyed the music session with Mrs Collins and even sang a song using sign language. The children showed some amazing ball control skills during PE with Mrs Short. Our final group of children enjoyed their visit to Fountains Court. On Thursday we started our independent writing and the children wrote some wonderful sentences. We have also started our daily handwriting sessions.
The children looked wonderful in their red clothing for our Comic Relief ‘get reddy’ day and the school raised £225. Thank you so much for your donations and your continued support.
