It’s been another SUPER week in Reception as we’ve shared this weeks story – SUPERWORM! We’ve enjoyed sharing the story, writing parts of the story and learning about microhabitats. We enjoyed exploring squishy spaghetti superworms too!

We made collage snails based on Henri Matisse’s work of art – Snail. 🐌

We also explored plants using our SENSES by smelling and tasting herbs – we liked the smell but not really the taste!

And Friday was our OUTDOOR LEARNING day – we spent time exploring the outdoors, building dens and making minibeast shelters.

PUPIL OF THE WEEK – A big WELL DONE to our Pupils of the week this week- Michael from the Sunshine group and Noah from the Rainbow group!

VALUES AWARDS- Congratulations to the children who have displayed our school values this half term. We are so proud of you!
Enjoy– Well done Rosie for enjoying everything we do in Reception! She always takes part and tries her best.
Achieve– Well done to Natalia for her fantastic progress with her reading this half term.
Inspire– Well done Violet for inspiring your friends with your imagination!

We wish Oliver and Michael a very happy birthday in the half term holiday, we hope you have a lovely time!
