Healthy Lifestyles

This week in Reception, we have continued looking at being healthy and making healthy choices.

We have designed some lovely healthy plates in our books and on the ipads.

We talked about keeping our teeth and gums healthy and practised brushing teeth!

In PE on Tuesdays, we have a new dance teacher, Miss Nicole, who is teaching us about listening and moving to different types of music. We moved like elephants, mice and butterflies – we were very good at listening!

We also talked lots this week about how music makes us feel and what music makes us feel happy! What music do you listen to at home that makes you happy? 🙂

Important Dates!

On Monday 16th January we will ‘Turn Blue Monday Bright’ by supporting the Headlight Project and wearing bright and colourful clothes. Donations to the charity, which supports mental health are optional but greatly appreciated and can be sent into school on Monday.

This week, our PUPIL OF THE WEEK special certificates go to Ameen in the Sunshines and Leyton in the Rainbows! Well done you two, what Superstars!

We have no Reception birthdays this week 🙂 Have a nice weekend everyone!
