Weekly News 06.10.23

This week our focus has been Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The children have had so much fun in our areas pretending to be the characters from the story. In Maths we did some careful Goldilocks counting, the children were amazing at counting. We also completed a size comparison activity. The had to place the Bears Beds, chairs and bowls in size order. The most enjoyable part of our topic this week was getting to make and eat porridge 🥣 🧸🧸🧸👧

The Sunshines enjoyed their music session with Miss Smith and learnt how to use their voice in different ways.

We started our toothbrushing this week and the children enjoyed brushing their teeth to some funky music for 2 minutes.

The children enjoyed a fantastic PE session with Mrs Short and well done to Teddy and Aria who were our PE superstars this week!

Come and Read

Thank you to everyone who came to our first ‘Come and Read’ session of the year. It was lovely to see so many parents/carers sharing books with their child. The children really enjoyed this time and we look forward to seeing you all every Monday 8.40-9.00am.

Homework

Homework will be handed out every Friday. Please can it be completed and returned by the following Wednesday. It is important that homework is completed as this consolidates the learning of that week.

PE

Our PE days this term are Monday and Wednesday. Please can all children wear their PE kit on Wednesday. Can children wear trainers and not school shoes on this day and can earrings be removed. Thank you for your continued support.

Birthdays
