Another busy week! This is what we have been doing in Reception…

We are lucky to have had extra PE this week, we are very active in Reception! We were practising ball skills with Mrs Short and retelling the story of The Little Red Hen in Mighty Warriors! Some children were chosen to get the special relaxing blanket and Darcey-Mae and Daniel will be Rachel’s helpers at the front next week with Om the Lion!

Our role play area is a police station and this week we have been finding out about what important jobs they do to keep us all safe. We have been writing lists of what a police officer might need. Our writing is fabulous! Keep practising letter formation at home!

We had a handwriting competition this week and the winner for Reception was Rosie. Well done Rosie.

This week, our PUPIL OF THE WEEK special certificate goes to Reece from the Rainbow class and Lincoln from the Sunshine class.

A big WELL DONE to Violet and Ava who have read 25 times at home and Edward who has read 50 times!
