Such a busy week in Reception. It was nice to welcome parents in for Stay and Play on Tuesday and if you would like to sign up for future Tuesdays, please see a member of the Early Years Team at the classroom door! We will continue Come and Read on a Monday too – it is so lovely to welcome you all in to share our learning with you!

This week our story has been Jack and the Beanstalk. We have loved drawing a story map to help us retell the story, writing sentences about the story, painting flowers, planting beans and building the giants castle in the construction area. On Thursday, we enjoyed retelling the story using Now Press Play; there were lots of smiles and some very good acting!

In maths this week, we have been recapping the names of simple 2D shapes and moving shapes around to make pictures. Can you spot any shapes at home?

The children have enjoyed making cress heads this week! We can’t wait to see them grow !

We wish Madison a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY this week! We hope you have a lovely day!

PUPIL OF THE WEEK – A big WELL DONE to our Pupils of the week this week- Harley from the Sunshine group and Reuben from Rainbow group!

GOLDEN BOOK– We are super proud of Isla and Lincoln for their fantastic stories this week. Mrs Hewitt-Best was so proud she has put their names in her golden book!
