Summer 2- Week 5

WOW!! We are beyond proud of how amazing every single one of the Year 6s were in our production of Shakespeare Rocks. They blew us away with their hard work, brilliant confidence and outstanding acting. Thank you to those who came to watch their amazing performance, we hope you enjoyed watching it just as much as we enjoyed doing it!

Tuesday we had ‘Power of Women’ come into speak with our children about their life stories and how they got the job they have today. It really inspired our children to think about how they should be proud of any accomplishments they make, whether they are big or small, and that with hard work and self belief, they can achieve anything they put their mind to.

On Friday this week, the children completed their end of unit assessment in History on Crime and Punishment. They also looked into their dream job and how much they would get paid. From there, they had to calculate their tax and their take home pay. It was lovely to see so many aspirations and an array of jobs that the children aspire to have.

We want to wish the children good luck for their transition days next week- show them how amazing you all are and we cannot wait to hear about it when you’re back in school! 🙂

Congratulations to our pupils of the week!

In 2BV this week Eva achieved pupil of the week for fully transforming into her role of Burbage and putting everything into her performance.

In 2KT this week Layla achieved pupil of the week for stepping up in our performance of Shakespeare Rocks and saying the lines of an absent peer.

Happy birthday to Musa S this week, we hope you both have a wonderful birthday! 🙂
