Week 6 – 12th December

What a fantastic week the children have had. Over the week, the children performed our production of ‘Lights, Camel, Action 2: The Sequin’ to pack out audiences. All of the adults are so proud of the children. They have learnt their lines, learnt their songs and practiced their dances. We are sure there are some West End stars in the making!

We have also continued our topic this half term, of Toys Through Time. The children will be learning about different toys over time and how they have changed.

Christmas Parties

Year One and Two’s party will take place on Tuesday 16th December. We ask that the children bring their party clothes into school in a named bag. They will get changed in school. Contributions towards food would be greatly appreciated.  Each class are asked to provide different party food and it is suggested that they are sent in, in packs of 6 so that there will be enough for each child.

The following classes are asked to provide:

Mr Griffiths (1MG) – 6 x wrapped biscuits or cakes (nut free)

Mrs Catterson (1AC) – 6 x sausage or cheese rolls

Across this term, we are looking at the season of Autumn. In school, we are making a display about how we celebrate this season. If you go on any Autumn walks, pumpkin picking trips or anything linked to Autumn, we would love to see! Please send a photo to the school address and we will be able to share it with the class, and on our display. We look forward to sharing your wonderful experiences.
