The children have blown the staff in Key Stage One away this week with their maturity and their hard work. We are very proud of all of them. Over the week, the children have continued to explore the United Kingdom, with a focus on Scotland. We explored the physical and human feature that can be found in Scotland. The children were impressed by how tall Ben Nevis is. They can’t wait to learn all about Northern Ireland next week. In English, we have continued our work about grammar, focusing on subjects, verbs and punctuating sentences correctly. In Maths, we have started our learning about addition and subtraction, using related facts to help us answer questions within 100.

As the seasons change, we would like to showcase all of the wonderful things that you do at home in Autumn. Please send in any photos of the fun activities, adventures, days out, or special moments so that the children can share them with the class. The children really enjoy talking about their experiences and seeing what their friends have been doing.
