We have had a wonderful week in Year 1 and the children have worked incredibly hard!
In English, we have planned our recount diary ready to write it up next week.
In Maths, we have been exploring place value to 50. We have been partitioning numbers into tens and ones.
In Topic, we have been exploring the different ways in which we are entertained in the past and today.
Notices
Across this term, we are looking at the season of Spring. In school, we are making a display about how we celebrate this season. If you go on any Spring walks, or anything linked to Spring, we would love to see! Please send a photo to the school address and we will be able to share it with the class, and on our display. We look forward to sharing your wonderful experiences.
Homework – Homework will be handed out every Friday to be returned the following Wednesday.
Coats -The weather is changing and is unpredictable. Please can children bring a coat to school every day.
Water bottles – Plastic water bottles only.
PE – Our PE days this term are Wednesday and Thursday. Our PE uniform is a white t-shirt, black shorts, plimsolls/trainers, plain joggers (no branding), school jumper for outdoors. Please remove earrings for PE.
