Spring 2- Week 1- World Book Week!

What an incredible week we have had this week! The children have thoroughly enjoyed the activities that we have completed throughout this time. Year 6’s fairy tale was The Three Little Pigs and to introduce that we had the children create their own court case to prove that the eldest pig was innocent when accused of killing the wolf!! The children were so engrossed in their learning and we cannot wait to read their final pieces. We also did some drama in a reading lesson as we acted out the court room scene between Mr Wolfe and Mr P Pig.

The whole school story was a success with both Year 6 classes starting the mystical story! We will be holding a competition to design a front cover for the story in the near future. On Thursday we had our Footy and Booky quiz with some famous footballers and authors wishing us a Happy World Day! We completed our carousel with Year 5 in the afternoon which was great fun! We have loved all your amazing costumes today and we hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Congratulations to our pupils of the week!
