Spring 1- Week 7

What an amazing last week we have had! The week started with a production at Acklam Grange Secondary school, the secondary children put on the performance of Oliver and it was spectacular. The children thoroughly enjoyed it- some of them mentioned being inspired and that they may take part when they go to secondary!

In English, we finished and published both the diary’s by Syms Covington and Charles Darwin. The children tried really hard with the difference in formality and the emotions both individuals would be feeling at the time. We are really looking forward to reading them. In maths we finished the topic of decimals and completed our end of block test. Please remind your children to work on their multiplication and division facts to help with their understanding.

We hope you have a fantastic half term! 🙂

The inspire award went to Olivia for inspiring others to participate in all opportunities school has to offer.

The enjoy award went to Milena for enjoying explaining her maths understanding in given daily challenges.

The achieve award went to Poppy for amazing progress and confidence across all curriculum areas.
