Spring 2 – Week 5

We have had an amazing week this week, the children have had the mind of a barrister and have planned their closing statement in English. They have worked really hard to include technical language and stay in a formal tone. Their opening paragraphs are brilliant and could definitely be read in a real courtroom 🙂 In maths we have moved onto statistics, the children have been working hard on their understanding of graphs and how to get data from them. Please remind your children to access the Key instant recall facts as they will benefit from practising those.

On Thursday we had a lovely day of football! Mrs Short let some lessons in the morning to focus on key skills such as dribbling and shooting and the children were excellent! We are so proud of the behaviour, team work and sportsmanship that was displayed during the games. Year 6 mixed with Year 5 in the tournaments and they played brilliantly.

Have a lovely weekend 🙂
