Summer 2 – Week 5

This week the children have been reflecting upon their school values: inspire, enjoy and achieve. They have thought about their entire learning journey in school and look forward to filming these next week to share with you as a treat in their final week. Please could you ensure your child’s first day at school photograph has been sent into school as we would like to make something special for the children using these.

In Forest Schools, this week we discussed when a fire may be required and how to create a fire safely. Everyone had a go at working in a team to start and then build a fire safely. Their listening skills were super! Next time, we hope to revisit these skills and create smores to enjoy as an afternoon treat 🙂

Today, the children produced their dress rehearsal for Shakespeare Rocks in front of year 1, year 2, year 3 and year 4 children and their teaching staff. We are incredibly proud of their confidence and commitment to their character; we cannot wait to show this to you all on Monday!

Just a reminder: On Monday afternoon, we will be recording the show for the children to watch in their final week at Newham Bridge Primary School so please respect our request for no children under 3 years to attend so the children can perform to their best 🙂

If your child is not on transition they must attend Newham Bridge Primary School. All children must go to transition in their primary school uniform.
