Spring 1- Week 3

The children have worked really hard with their non-chronological report this week as they have written their main body of the text. They focused on the use of subordinating conjunctions and conjunctive adverbs to extend their writing. Next week we will be writing our conclusion and editing our work before publishing our final piece. In maths, we have finished our work on ratio and proportion and have moved onto algebra. Please encourage your child to use TTRS and complete their tests on maths.co.uk. We have worked on passing and moving with the ball in rugby and the children are thoroughly enjoying it. In history we wrote a class acrostic poem on Charles Darwin and his theory of evolution.

We hope you have a lovely weekend! See you on Monday 🙂
