Summer 1- Week 2

This week has been non-stop for our Year 6s and they have worked their socks off!! It is the build up to SATs so we have been revising every day to get them prepared. We are really impressed with their resilience and motivation to succeed and they MUST continue to keep this up in the next 2 weeks. This week, due to the brilliant attendance, all year 6 received a delicious chocolate Hob-Nob thanks to Mrs Barker! We hope that within the next few weeks we can keep it up and keep receiving lovely treats.

In English this week, we have continued with our spooky narrative- Francis. The children have thoroughly enjoyed writing this so far and we are very impressed with what they have produced. We are hoping to have it produced after SATs so we look forward to marking those in the coming weeks. In maths we have been working extremely hard and we have finished our work on statistics and have moved onto angles in a triangle and quadrilateral. They have been working at a great pace and we are really proud of their efforts.

Please go to the homework to find information about the SATs which will begin on the 11th of May.

Have a lovely long weekend, rest and relax!! 🙂

Congratulations to our pupils of the week!

In 2KT it is Toyah for her effort to improve her writing and maths all week.

In 2BV it is Chloe for her outstanding effort toward her writing.
