We have really felt the Autumn season this week, the children have thoroughly enjoyed coming to nursery jumping in the puddles and walking through the leaves. We have continued with the ‘All about Me’ topic and the children have been continuing to talk and explore activities about families. They have been exploring different materials and created houses and telling us who lives in their house. They have also been drawing their families for the home area display and creating family pictures using wood, stones, sticks and leaves. Thank you to parents who have sent lovely photographs of their children as babies and their families. We have talked about what they love about their families and what they like doing together and how much they have changed from being babies.
It was lovely to see many Parents / Carers who came to share a book with their child on Wednesday for ‘Come and Read’
On Friday, some nursery children had spotted a beautiful rainbow shining over Acklam on the morning, so the children painted a rainbow. The children did a fabulous job!
