Nursery 1.5.26

What a lovely, busy week in Nursery.

In music, we have been learning about music with feelings. Which music makes you feel happy? Can music make us feel sad?

In PE, we continue to play games. We are listening to the rules and doing our best. We talked about changes to our bodies when we exercise and why it is important to drink water.

We also learnt about Article 24 of the Children’s Rights. Every child has the right to the best possible health, encompassing healthcare services, clean water, nutritious food, and a safe environment.

In maths, we have been comparing using the maths vocabulary, more and less.

In science, we are learning about animals and talking about out where different animals live – sea or land!

We also continue to practise our cutting skills and holding a pencil correctly. This is a skill we all need to be practising, especially our children getting ready to move to Reception.

Aren’t we super busy in Nursery!

Our story this week…

We have loved sharing the story Little Rabbit Foo Foo this week! Little Rabbit Foo Foo was being very naughty and the Good Fairy had warned him! In the end he didn’t learn so she turned him into a… Goonie! My favourite part was when she was so cross she was twirling her handbag above her head then POW, she turned him into the goonie! What was your favourite part?

Feel free to send us a photo of your child with their pet! We are making a book to share in Nursery. contact@newhambridge.org.uk

And, don’t forget to return book bags for your child to choose a new story on a Friday.
