Weekly news 27.6.25

Nursery have had a lovely week this week, learning and playing in their areas. We firstly listened to sounds from different types of weather after talking about the thunderstorms we heard last weekend. The children were able to enjoy playing different instruments like the rain shakers and drums to sound like a storm. This week, the children have particularly enjoyed playing in our revamped music area outside. Thank you to Mr Grierson and Mr Carrigan for their help repainting the canopy and fixing instruments to pallets. The children have enjoyed playing the instruments and performing on the mini stage. In maths, the children have been writing numbers 1-5 on the board, learning number rhymes.

Nursery would like to share some news! On the Wednesday 18th June (evening of our trip) Freda the pig at Newham Grange Farm had 11 piglets. How amazing is that!

Nursery love to perform!

The children have loved playing the different instruments; playing on the pans, pan lids, boom whackers, large tubs and performing on the stage.
