What a week!
The children have blown us away with their hard work and resilience during their end of key stage two tests. They have completed some really challenging tests (in spelling, punctuation & grammar, reading, arithmetic and reasoning) this week and have worked incredibly well – we couldn’t be more proud of them!
We are also incredibly grateful to the kitchen staff in school, who made a wonderful breakfast for the children every morning before the tests – including a bonus treat of pancakes, this morning: delicious!
We have also enjoyed a range of other fun activities this week: a film, extra PE sessions, sewing, singing, sketching and plenty of juice and biscuits!
We hope the children have a wonderful, restful and relaxing weekend! Next week we will continue to complete our English work on the Galapagos as well as a host of other activities.
We have awarded Pupil of the Week to all of our Year Six children – for their astonishing efforts this week. Well done, everyone!
