Autumn Term – Final Week

We have no idea where this week has gone or this term! We have had so much fun with your children, they have learned lots and already made so much progress – we really are closing autumn term very proud teachers 🙂

We have had the privilege of watching the Year 3 Christingle, taking part in the Reindeer Run, and dancing, eating and playing BINGO in the Upper Key stage Two Party. You can see us take part in the Reindeer Run HERE

At the end of the week we published our final piece of writing – Closing Argument as a Defence Barrister in the Courtroom for Hamlet. Your children now know a wide variety of legal vocabulary, how to write and speak formally and how to prove their client was innocent throughout the play. Please speak with them about this, as their work was very impressive and convincing!

Today, we completed our wonderful Elizabethan Calendars and Christmas Cards in our festive jumpers. The children also completed a replica of The Globe Theatre in London (opened by William Shakespeare).

Pupils of the Week this week are Inaya for demonstrating effective partner work during peer editing and Jay for good homework and engaging well in his English work.

Finally, we would like to wish you a wonderful winter break from school and we hope those celebrating Christmas have a great festive season.
