Spring 1- Week 5

Thank you to those that attended the maths morning today, it was wonderful to see the children mathematically explain questions to you and show their understanding of what has been taught over the years. In maths we have completed our work on algebra and have moved onto decimals. We will continue this work next week. In English we have begun to recognise how we can write both informally and formally for effect. They will be writing two diaries from two different perspectives and we will start to plan this next week. On Wednesday we had a workshop with poet Alim Kamara where we wrote our own RAP poems. The children were really engaged and had a go at writing their own- some have been entered into a competition so we shall keep our fingers crossed!!

We hope you have a wonderful weekend 🙂
