Spring 1- Week 4

We have had another wonderful week this week! The children completed and published their non-chronological report on a Galapagos species and we are really pleased with how hard they worked. They are really enjoying this topic at the moment and we are looking forward to starting our newest piece of writing which is two diary entries from Charles Darwin and Syms Covington’s adventure to the Galapagos Islands. In maths, we have moved onto algebra which has been a brand new topic for them, they have had great resilience towards it and they need to keep it up. In science, we discussed the genetics and how we inherit traits from our parents as they are passed down.

Friday 6th February at 9am- We are hosting our Year 6 Calculation Event. Your child has been sent home with a small slip to inform you about the morning. Please tick whether you are able to attend and return it to school next week. We look forward to having you! 🙂

We hope you have a wonderful weekend!
