This week this children have finished writing their non-chronological reports, they have worked extremely hard on them and we are beyond impressed with their sentence structure and punctuation. In maths, we were fortunate enough to have Santander come into do a workshop with the children about spending and saving money and how banks work. The children were great at asking and answering questions. We have also continued our work on fractions and we will be continuing this next week.
In guided reading this week we learnt all about Douglas Mawson, a brave explorer who ventured to the South Pole to gain valuable geographical information about Antarctica. The children were very engaged to learn about the expedition and the hardships he faced throughout their time there.
We hope you have a lovely weekend 🙂
