Autumn 2 Week 2

We have had an amazing week this week! We would like to start by saying how proud we are of all the Year 6s that took part in the Remembrance Assembly on Tuesday. They were incredibly respectful and read their parts clearly and with pride. Thank you to those that attended the assembly, we are extremely grateful.

This Wednesday we had some visitors from NSPCC to discuss how to stay safe and how important it is for them to have an adult they can trust. The children listened carefully and clearly understood the different ways to keep safe.

Next week, there will be a times table rockstars competition which starts Monday at 7am and finishes Thursday. The competition will be between Year 5 and Year 6. The winner will win a prize and a certificate!!

We have started and will be finishing our non-chronological report on penguins next week. We cannot wait to read the published pieces! We have continued our work on fractions in maths and we will be working on them for the next few weeks.

Have a lovely weekend! 🙂
