Autumn 2- Week One

We have had a brilliant first week back and we hope you have had a lovely break. The children have came back with an excellent attitude towards their learning and are ready to put 100% into their work. In English this week, we have started to plan our first piece of writing- a non-chronological report on Penguins. The children have been very eager to know all they can about the animal and we can’t wait to see how they do when they begin their draft.

In maths this week we have completed our end of block assessment to conclude our topic of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and have started our next topic which is fractions. Please practise division facts at home to help support this.

Tuesday 11th November at 9:15am we have our Remembrance Assembly, all parents and carers are invited to attend. The children will be sharing their knowledge and work with you from what they have learnt over the past few weeks in their topic, Fallen Fields.

Aston achieved the enjoy award for enjoying all opportunities drama and singing give him in school. You are always full of passion and energy!

Peyton achieved the inspire award for inspiring others to have confidence and believe in their ability to succeed. Peyton is always offering encouraging words to her peers.
