What a brilliant week we have had! In English we have worked on our understanding of independent clauses and what they consist of. The children have been excellent at recapping their understanding of previous lessons too. Thursday we had our own personal museum in school thanks to Dorman’s Museum! We had lots of artefacts, clothing for the children to try on as well as some porridge to try with dried fruit. The children were fully engaged and thoroughly enjoyed the experience and got plenty out of it.
In maths we have been focusing on long division, this is a new concept that the children are trying really hard to learn. They must know their multiplication and division facts to help with this so please encourage your child to use Times Table Rockstars to help 🙂
