Spring 1- Week 2

We have had an excellent week this week as the children have worked so hard and engaged brilliantly with their learning. We have planned our non-chronological report on an animal in the Galapagos Islands, they will begin to complete their draft next week. In maths we have continued our work in ratio and proportion by looking at scale factor and enlarging a shape. Please remind your child to log onto maths.co.uk as there will be tests on there for them to complete. These tests will help prepare your child for their SATS.

In DT we planned and designed a journal cover for a sketch book. We wrote out all the measurements and steps to success ready for next week where we will be cutting and sewing our final product. In Pe we have started tag-rugby and boccia which the children have thoroughly enjoyed.

Have a lovely relaxing weekend 🙂

Congratulations to our pupils of the week!

In 2KT this week, Iosif was pupil of the week for huge improvements in his presentation by realising slowing down produces work he is proud of.

In 2BV this week, Shanaya is pupil of the week for his outstanding efforts within all his classes- especially English as he has constructed some wonderful sentences!

Congratulations to those who achieved 20 out of 20 in their multiplication and division test!
