Autumn 1- Week 5

This week the children continued their PVPG work and have worked really hard, we are looking forward to them applying those skills when we begin our first piece of writing. Within maths, we have been working on our multiplication and division skills focusing on short division and 4 digit by 2 digit multiplication. To help secure your child’s understanding of multiplication and division please encourage them to use TTRS at home. We have continued our work in our topic, Fallen Fields, and looked at how Britain led the way to victory in WW2. We have also started our art for our remembrance assembly. We are creating a piece of blackout poetry.

Congratulations to the following children who got into the Golden Book for their outstanding work and efforts within their maths- Rayan, Peyton, Grace and Musa S! Well done guys! 🙂
