Nursery 18.12.25

What a fun week in nursery. We hope the children enjoyed making memories with their nursery friends. Here is just a snippet of what we did…

We made Christmas cards, 2026 calendars, these yummy biscuits and danced like penguins!

We built snowmen in pretend snow! We made reindeer dust to bring home! The afternoon nursery set up the Polar Express… All aboard! We wrapped presents and put them under the tree and we had a Santa run around the hall and nursery! WOW!

Then it was PARTY TIME for all the children in our EYFS! We had a wonderful time dancing and playing games with the Reception children and staff. And of course, eating some yummy party food! Thank you for all your contributions. Look at some of our happy faces! More photos to follow in the new year! 🙂

Yum! Yum!

And we were excited to have a visit from the mascot from Zoe’s Place! Thank you for your contributions to support them.

And we did so much more!

Story of the Week

We’ve enjoyed lots of different Christmas stories from our reading corner again this week. We will continue with Come and Read on a Friday and sharing books will continue to be changed on a Friday too. Please sign the reading record when you share a story with your child. This is a good routine to start as it will continue when your child moves into Reception. See the Nursery Support page on sharing stories for more support.

Birthdays

Happy Birthday to Mrs Bell! We hope you had a lovely day!
